Living together has given them both a sense of community and connection that they value highly. This shift towards friends buying homes together could have significant implications on real estate markets across the country. It may lead to an increase in multi-generational households or shared living arrangements as more people look for affordable housing options. Additionally, it highlights the importance of strong social networks in helping individuals navigate through challenging economic times.
